When do you recommend players stop playing games against the AI and begin facing real players? After a few games with the same champion? After you have all the basics down? I'm fairly new,and don't want to drag a team down, yet I don't want to get into bad habits only playing bots. Thanks.

After you understand the fundamentals of the game. You won't drag the team down. You'll either be playing against total idiots or smurfs who will destroy you until you've logged a couple hundred hours of PvP practice.

You should be playing normals for regular play by level 5. You should be playing against bots only for learning new champions after around level 10, and you should play every free week champion you can to learn what they can do.

The only bad habit you can really get from playing bots is expecting your teammate to be as nice in PvP as they are in bot games.

You need to crash and burn sooner or later. Sooner you do it the better and the sooner you'll start learning from mistakes and realize what your doing wrong.

I got a couple of friends right now that while they have always done PVP have unfortunately always been carried and can't play smart if their life depended on it. I'm not saying you'll be like that especially with you being concerned about dragging your team down but you do need to start learning how to play against others sooner rather then latter. Other wise you'll just develop bad habits.

When you feel ready. Otherwise, keep practicing against bots.
