Many guides just focus on how to play a champion, how to play against champions and when to pick certain champions.
They all neglect people living in africa with high ping. I am here to guide high ping players on how to work around their ping.

#1 Priority champions to learn are those that aren't mechanically difficult but are viable. No I do not mean "shyvana" viable, I actually mean GOOD champions. Examples include: Sona, Nunu and Ryze.

#2 Consistent ping is better than eratic ping. If you can get a consistent albeit high ping, it is better than a ping that will bounce from low to high ping. Once you adjust to this consistent high ping you can time skillshots slightly ahead of time.

#3 Low priority champions are combo champions. This is because they require timing that can be easily executed on low ping but almost impossible with high ping. Champions like Alistar can be played, you must hold Q as soon as you press W.

#4 Do not play draven. Do not buy draven.

#5 Mechanics are still important but know that you're handicapped. So be proud if you're diamond with 300 ping. You would probably be challenger if you had 10 ping.

Not only people living in africa have high ping. Also, Im pretty good at draven, even with ~250ms.
And now, I'm thinking again, isn't there
something we can do about something we can't do anything about?

250ms is nothing, try 500.
And hey, while we're at it, let's thank God for tartar sauce.

Why would anyone with high ping even play LoL in the first place, if this is the case?

My internet is awesome. I just live in Russia, and play on NA.

I can imagine. I love my country so much, but our internet is so damn bad. My friend in the UAE had way better internet than me and humorously I remember another friend yelling "YOU LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF A DESERT WHY IS YOUR INTERNET SO GOOD?!"
