I was trying to spectate my friend, and I couldn't really interact with him due to the delay.

That may be why?

I thought that was adjustable on Twitch. Does it have a minimum higher than 0 or something?
I laugh as I watch people ignore the past, lie about the present, and misrepresent the future.

There is a minimum 30 sec delay to prevent ghosting

Regarding ghosting, I'm trying to watch my friend and give him on the spot tips and stuff since he's new to the game. Back in the day, Hotshot was ghosted 24/7 and he still won a ton of games.

I don't think its adjustable. The 30 second delay might be mandatory. We couldn't find the option to turn it of at least.

The minimum is 30 sec. This prevents someone someone whos playing an also spectating from knowing whats going on the enemy side known as ghosting. Imagine knowing where all 5 members of the enemy team were at all times and what they were doing. That's why.
