Idk, ive seen games like starcraft 2 and overwatch were on the first making the game balanced is a top priority, and the second were blizzard really puts more effort into "shaking things up". And then there is dota which while it has a different way to balance, they "shake s*** up" once every 6-12 months and then they polish the game.
Super Metroid, Bloodborne, Half-Life, MGS3 and Witcher 3. The environment, the combat, the action, the characters, the story. Combine them.

they legit dont try to balance. they simply dont. they try to keep most champs relevant enough, while keeping a group too strong so theres a changing meta and keeping the game from being homogenous. which i hate.
Why is it called 'common sense' when it is so rare these days?
