Not sure if this has been brought up before, anyone else think Ryuji and Travis look similar? And the way Sylvia killed him off was rather suspicious imo. Just food for thought really, but what if they turned out to be brothers? I think this could be highly likely, considering SUDA51 has been compared and even compared himself to Hideo Kojima on occasion.

not like it matters now. Ryuji is pretty dead and Travis's story is over and done with. Interesting theory though.

Travis doesn't need any more brothers tbqh.

Ryuji was probably written to be a counterpart or a rival to Travis, both use large motorcycles and both have an animal motif.

You think that was a Fist of the North Star reference? Travis being the tiger and Ryuji being the Dragon: and in FotNS, Kenshiro and Rei were forced to fight each other to the death in order to save Mamiya. For the finishing blow Rei used an attack called "Dragon kills the Tiger" and Kenshiro counters with "Tiger attacks the Dragon".

If not a HnK reference, it may at least be reference to something

Ryuji is representative of what Travis "could be" in the future. He's got the same hair and a similar face, the motorcycle, the animal motif, and the crossing scars from years of battles. It makes sense when looking at it from the perspective of the article on Destructoid examining No More Heroes 2's deeper "hidden" meanings.

It would be cool if Travis could have an attack where he unleashes beam tigers with whatever beam katana he uses.

I personally think that Ryuji may have something to do with Dark Star.

That guy was pretty cool, barely said anything which did arouse suspicion.
