If you have A,2,3,4,5 can you play the ace low to make the straight?

That's pretty half-assed to not have the Ace low straight in Poker.

Both. You can get a straight with an ace high straight and five high straight.

A,2,3,4,5 is a low straight . 10.J.KQ.K,A is a high straight. they both work in this game
