This is the exact kind of **** I've been talking about. They're making it even easier!?

High difficulties better be damn hard...

This should help ease your worries...

front page has an article about parrying and often points out that they tried to make enemies seemingly unfair. i think Platinum really wants the game to feel very rewarding for challenge junkies, while not chasing away newcomers to the genre. It's a brilliant strategy in game design from a business standpoint. There will be something for everyone, no doubt. You know how Platinum and KojiPro is, the combination of the two is a no-fail : )

We have to realize Tai that this game isn't just made for people like us. Hopefully Hard Mode and Revengeance will be for people like us.

It's just...UGH! They did the same thing in TTT2 when people that wont take the time to learn the game are talking about how hard Unknown is, so they nerfed her.

Seriously, there are people out there, and on this board that ALREADY have this game mastered. There are people that took a bit of time out and learned the system and didn't whine about how hard or different it was. Everyone else complained until they made the game easier. That kills me.

I think they increased the duration of the parry stance. I remember seeing the boss battle trailer and seeing Raiden block when Monsoon was launching an attack. The thing is, Monsoon did this feint which prompted Raiden to block very early and Monsoon's attack landed like 3 seconds later. In the demo the block/parry window is like 1 and a half second.

Either this is a buy-able upgrade or they made the parrying even more lenient.

Way of the world my friend. We already know of a game where the whole game and it's higher difficulty was easier so it's more accessible. I don't think P* is a company that will do that.

Better not. I love P* (even though antis on the DmC board made me a little salty about them)

believe it or not, there are more than just the best gamers in the world interested in playing this game. i really cant understand what all the fuss is about. there will be different difficulty settings, there ya go. but noooo, we have to hear constant whining about if the game is going to be hard enough. maybe they will come out with an impossible mode. that way, the super duper great gamers will never actually be able to beat the game, and can be happy forever after.

Honestly a Hell and Hell mode would be perfect for a game like this.

What if it's too easy with the difficulties in it.
