Not sure if anyone is reading this forum at all but just in case someone notices and knows the answer: During and after March story mission (the escort mission) I noticed that targeting area for troopers and my tank changed to much larger circle than it used to be before March story mission although I did not change any weapon I'm using. It's so ridiculous that my veteran trooper runs straight up to an enemy (literally half a meter away from the enemy) and still misses 50% of the shots.

At first I was like "this cant be right, maybe I remember incorrectly". So I played some free March/Feb missions and lo and behold - while using the same characters and the same weapons their targeting area during earlier missions is MUCH MUCH smaller. What gives? Same characters, same weapons!

I'm using the mags-3 machine gun that is the newest available to my troopers.
My tank is using A-Arm mortar 1 turret that has Piercing Rounds L2 on it. The targeting circle is immense in April missions while in March missions the exact same turret has a pinpoint accuracy.

Anyone can explain this?

Different battlefields have different weather effects which affect your characters in different ways. In Leanbluff Forest, for example, there is a constant mist that greatly lowers your accuracy, increasing the size of the reticule. The same is true for the sandstorm in Daws Desert.

The story mission for March, VIP Escort, takes place in Leanbluff and features this mist.

You can negate the mist with a defogger that is fitted to your tank, but it only affects the single area that your tank is located.
Imagine that.
