Maybe all you need is more practice... I've been playing with the Zapper since forever and I think I'm at least decent. The only thing I still have trouble with, is hopping and crouching on a split-second :P
But if you don't feel like trying with Zapper again at all, then I think Wiimote should work just fine.
Happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply, to enjoy simply, to think freely, to risk life, to be needed.
It's almost impossible for me to hit someone who's moving around at close range. I'm starting to like the zapper for long & mid range shootouts but at close range I feel completely useless, it's like trying to hit a flying bumblebee.
The perfect shot is cool but you can't really use the wiimote's buttons very easily which is important in this game. When I go to throw a grenade or change weapons with it I have to stop moving because I simply can't use the nunchuck at the same time. and no im not gonna be online today I'm not home.
