I got the game and played through a fairly good portion of it (I just beat the Guardian), but I still can't figure out what the Arcane stat does, or the Arcane Critical Damage. Does it affect Reaper form, or something?

Think of Arcane as the 'magic' stat for this game. For the most part, upping your arcane will increase the damage your skills in the Necromancer tree will do.

Well, I guess that's why I never noticed it: I always use Harbinger abilities. -_- Thanx for clearing it up anyways.

According to the manual strength increases all normal attack damage while arcane increases all wrath power damage.
