The program or feature "\??\C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age 2\bin_ship\DragonAge2.exe cannot start or run due to an incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.
This happened when I clicked 'play Dragon Age 2' at the end of the installer.
When I take the disc out and put it back in, the startup screen appears, and I can click everything on it (configure, support, uninstall, documentation, website, exit) and they work as intended.
Looks like we have another ***** person programming stuff again who doesn't know how 32bit and 64bit work. If the programmer knew anything about it they wouldn't have wasted the time to program a prevention into it.
If said program is 32bit running on a 64 bit OS the first 32 bits are filled with program bits and the last 32bits are padded with zeros. Why can't people figure this out and not waste time programming stupid prevention methods?
God what I would do for an edit button on gamefaqs.
