Sorry for the double post, but my suggestion is if classes were absolutely going to be in the game. I didn't see a problem with the first Conduit's online, and I would like it to remain mostly the same with minor tweaks, but if classes need to be in the game, then so be it.

Halo is bad too
There needs to be more classic Arena Style shooters like quake and UT.
i'm sick of all the little hand outs the latest FPS games are giving people "lol perks i need my load outs and perks because it's too hard to hunt for my weapons on the map" --- |Proud owner of a Nintendo Wii 04/07/07|A big time Samus Fan|Conduit name: (Shadow)
The last UT was rather unfairly bashed by fans because of a focus on a vehicle gametype, and also because it wasn't UT2k4, which pissed off UT2k4 fans. So, sadly, the online of it is dead, in spite of being very similar to the best UT, UT99. The last Quake was Quake 4. Guess when that came out. 5 years ago. Since then, class-based games HAVE flooded the market, and even before then, arena style shooters have been in decline.
But, that doesn't mean that class-based shooters are the evil of all shooting games. There's always a way to mix the best of both worlds, and while I doubt The Conduit 2 will even try, I do have high hopes that it will be unique, interesting, and a fun experience.
