just a quick correction. We do know that perks have classifications. They are either primary or secondary. When it was explained to us awhile ago you could pick a primary and 2 secondaries although this may have changed due to balancing.

Probable Spaz, USP, Frag, Flash bang, Robot Legs, Higher Jump, and bullet damage ( though if there is a melee damage related perk, that could work as well )
Close combat, Grenades are used as an approach. They are VERY important because without an approach option ranged will always have an advantage over close combat. Grenades can also be a good last resort.
Robot legs and Higher jump also help the approach, and provide some defense. Bullet damage helps to insure that IF you do manage to make the approach, you will be rewarded with the kill. IMO survivability is not something you really want or need with CC.
