I know Conduit 2 is trying to introduce some pretty interesting weapons, and it got me thinking about old weapons found in first person shooters that it'd be sweet to see again. So my proposal is that the Conduit 2 could include versions of these games.
The Shrinker and Expander guns from Duke Nukem The shrinker made enemies tiny , allowing you to step on them. The expander blew enemies up like balloons until their guts burst outward. The trip-bomb was sweet too. Maybe a modern version of holodukes, like maybe you could have a remote-control decoy you walk around the level?
Goldeneye 64 also had proximity mines. You could lay them anywhere, and any number of them, wreaking havoc on anyone walking around. I'm hoping the Goldeneye remake still has them.
Other ideas and comments welcome. I was playing Duke Nukem 64 yesterday and realized how much I missed the shrinker and expander guns.
