For a lasting appeal that is, I just watched a video, and you can see a variety things when you die from an enemy such as the perks he's using and the amount of health he has left, etc.... no more "accusing" someone of hacking, you'll know it for sure now ;) I'm a competitive player so this is really good news to me.
You have to understand the scale that BO is going to be. The game has MASSIVE production values. This game's developers have to make due with limited resources.
Though it will be a slight update from MW2 for HD users, it will be a a decent leap in gameplay from MWR that Wii gamers are used to. PLUS, BO dev team has 3 dedicated teams working on single-player, competitive, and co-operative.
From a lasting appeal, I am sure BO has an upperhand. It all comes down to which games community, gameplay, pace and balance you like more. I cant seem to make my mind between these two games though.
To SaintsXS and SmallerRidley: I never noticed that "HP" was in the upper-right corner. In another video (I can't post it because I'm using my iPod at the moment) the red characters to the right of "HP" says "100%." I assume that's how much HP thar player currently has.
