OK, thank you for clarifying that you are indeed not tconslayer!

Also, I think it would work better with a bomb and 5 minute rounds. Similar to assault in Halo and Star Wars: Republic Commando.

I see, so you mean you reach the base an destroy it by setting a bomb type thing? If so, that works, but I think matches could end way too fast. Thats why I thought a 'King of the Hill' type thing would work better.

This is almost like Headquarters from MW ... except people still respawn.

The only way i'd like this is if the Bases are absolutely HUGE, and getting into the base doesnt neccisarily mean ACTUALLY getting into the base, but getting within a certain perimeter.

The last thing i want is a game mode encouraging players to sit next to entrances with shotguns, waiting for the Attackers to come in to take control of the base.

Guys, you don't need to talk about every game that has this. Actually, a lot of games have this. The first one I thought of was Team Fortress 2, which I think has done it best. In the Dustbowl matches, the attackers had 6 minutes to take the two bases of the defenders. The maps were kinda linear, and attackers had to go through base 2 to get to base 1. The defenders also had an extra minute to set up before the attackers were released. If the attackers won, the match would move on (A match 1-2-3 setup), and it would be an easier map for the defenders. If they lost, roles were switched and defenders went back to match 1 as the attackers. First group to beat match 3 wins.

So, yeah, I think that way works best....

Yea, I agree with this mode as well as Zilver's ideas. There might be something like this in Con 2, I hope.

Maybe the defenders should also have a certain amount of barriers to set up, and the attackers would need to use special explosives to penetrate them. I'm all for a mode with strategy.

Thanks for all the support fella's. Some great ideas in here. I'll compile all of what I think are the best ones(and maybe some semi-decent ones), and suggest to HVS about this mode. HVS are great for listening to ideas/feedback. Cool lot they are.
If this mode does become reality, expect me to lose my job.
