Linear is casual friendly. Game developers think Wii games need to be casual friendly in order to sell.

Which is funny if you consider that sandbox-style games are considered some of the most casual-friendly types of games, and those are probably the least linear.

You know that linear shooter =/= rail shooter, right? If the Wii could only play rail shooters without exploding, it would explode as soon as you popped in Conduit 1.
