Effective at close range, as all shotguns should be. In The Conduit, you could cancel the pump action by melee-ing, which improved the RoF even if you didn't hit with the melee (this is removed in Conduit 2). I'm not sure what the new capacity is, but it is probably unchanged (8/56).
Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right? It's ****ing satire, damnit. My quote rocks your socks.
Anybody else think 8/56 is too high for such a powerful gun? It kills in one or two hits at the only range anyone would bother using it. I don't ever remember needing all 8 shots before having time to reload. If it were my decision, it would be 4-5/whatever.
The Shotgun cancel mentioned in the TC post was a glitch, happy to see its gone now.
Weird note: Black Ops features the SPAS as a pump action shotty, however it purely semi-automatic and the pump is only featured when reloading... curious indeed.
Conduit 2 seems to feature the shotgun as it should, happy to see that. Also, mad to see Black Ops is still doing the "Guns go offscreen, get magically reloaded, then moved onscreen". Really Treyarch? you cant figure out a reload animations for duals or rocket launchers? And why the **** do some weapons get a FASTER reload when they are DUAL WIELDED??? WHAT THE ****???
HVS gets a thumbs up for showing a badass dual pistol reload. (Look up The Grinder demo) Tony Mecca gets a ****ing medal for creating the dual pistol reload. (Look up awesome.)
