Day 5 - Hive Cannon

Living hive that shoots explosive insects. You shove your hand in its ass to fire it.

Weapons Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6OvcWiaEdc

Ammo: 100/300
Type: Ballistic, Explosive
Cost: cr.7,500
Alt-Fire: Honey Lure

The new Hive Cannon has a steady rate of fire and spread unlike its predecessor, and in exchange gained a nifty trick in the Honey Lure. The alt-fire launches a glowing ball at enemies in an arcing trajectory, and if it hits, attracts all shots from the Hive Cannon to it no matter where you're aiming, around corners and through people. A lot more ammo helps as well.
Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right?
It's ****ing satire, damnit. My quote rocks your socks.

The lure doesn't seem as difficult to use as everyone kept implying.
I apologize for whatever I just said.

The alternate fire is going to be a godsend against Scarabs and Advancers, but I'm not sure how useful it will be against human opponents in multiplayer. On the other hand, the absurd rate of fire and massive ammo capacity is awesome.

Honey Glob sounds better. And the reason why they got rid of the twisting wiimote thing is probably for balancing. Honestly, you stick someone with the Honey GLOB, and set the Hive Cannon to its fastest rate of fire.... it'd be devastation in the multiplayer.

i LOVED the Hive Cannon before everyone else started to like it. Bastards.

I got a Reign of Terror with it in The Conduit, and i'll do it here too!

Honey Glob is its name, and it functions by releasing pheromones the Hive Cannons wasps go after.
