I remember seeing someone playing Mortal Kombat at an arcade when I was kid, and seeing the fatality made me sick in my stomach.
Last Thanksgiving I was babysitting some children who had an Xbox 360. They were playing Gears of War 3, and thought the gorey stuff was pretty funny.
Where am I even going with this? Dunno. Good to see you making polls again c;
As for gore in Conduit 2? I personally wouldn't want it in there. It doesn't really fit the style of the game with the cartoony death animations and players getting knocked on their butt in Team games.
The Conduit 2 chat room is now up and running again. http://mibbit.com/?channel=%23conduit2&server=irc.web.gamesurge.net
Besides not being needed and actually distracting from the game, every drop of blood or gore that splats, spews and sprays across your screen requires cpu power. That means more blood and guts could potentially equal more lag, LOL.
I know that kids become desensitized to it, but I'm not sure that's a good thing.
