In a recent poll, "The most important poll so far (part 2)," an overwhelming majority voted that they wanted others to enjoy playing with them. 17 - 3.
Let's talk about the things that make someone fun to play with, and the things that make you never want to see someone in-game ever again.
This time let's try to not insult anyone.
Let's not name names.
Let's not get butt-hurt.
Let's not gang up on people.
At one time or another, each of us has done something that I'm sure annoyed other players. I used to bunny-hop. I used to use PR-tuning...and I mean like all the time!
Let's talk about Overkill. How much is too much? Is there such a thing as too much?
At one time I really felt like people shouldn't go Overkill. I still mostly feel that way, but I respect those who due to their competitive nature feel that they must play like that, provided that they are legit. However, the exception to that is when they rack up kills by stealing kills from other players or by spawn camping.
To me spawn camping is among the lowest tactics that can be used in a legitimate game, and I will almost always leave that lobby after the match concludes. I guess I still have flashbacks to my early days, when all I had were ballistic weapons and got repeatedly killed by someone with a PR and Tuning.

I don't think most new players really mind when you beat them.
This was my first online FPS, and I was playing with the Classic Controller Pro when I started playing. I didn't really care about my KDR, I just had fun. Cold_Night was one of the first people I played, and I don't think I even realized how hard I got beaten. I do remember thinking he was good though, and I respected him for that and sent him a rival request, which he accepted.
As I got better, I got more competitive and did start caring more about winning and losing, but I think most new guys handle losing better than most vets.
