But, to find this out in literal terms, we might need to calculate trajectory and distance
First, start out with a simple y=mx+b
Lets assume y=3/2x+11/4 (my average slope intercept) The Pistol loses its strength at a constant rate (on average) a rate of function f(p)=1.32e cm. squared. To calculate that into meters, its 0.0132e m squared. The SMAW keeps its damage constant but moves at a rate of 23.68m/s. While 1 bullet on average will travel 72m/s.
So a pistol reloads within 0.56 seconds. while the SMAW takes roughly 2.3 seconds.
No to fully calculate, from a basde distance of 10 meters:
Pistol Damage: 99.868e arriving at the y-intercept in 1.38e seconds
SMAW Damage: 100 arriving at the y-intercept in 4.22 seconds
Now to include reaction, the average reaction time, in total, is 78 milliseconds.
Now with all of this, in my opinion: Pistol > SMAW easily, considering that there is a multi-bullet clip in the pistol, and the faster reload.
Up for debate, let the fights begin and headaches begin!
