You guys "seem" to think there is an evil villain sitting by a switch/cord waiting for a command to pull the plug.....lol

This will be an automated shutdown...MEANING....It is already on a timer, when the timer runs out online will be disconnected.

No one is going to say......"OK guys, pull the plug."

So if you want to catch the shutdown to the nearest second then I suggest you watch the timer that has been synced with the timer that will automatically shut down the servers at a pre-set time.

f'(x) = 3ax^2 + 2bx + c

For the local min and max, f'(x) will be zero at f(-1) and f(1)

3a - 2b + c = 0 and
3a + 2b + c = 0...............from these, b must = zero

f(x) = ax^3 + cx + d

f(1) = a + c + d = -1
f(-1) = -a -c + d = 2...........add these two, and 2d = 1...........d = 1/2

Now we have 3a + c = 0 and
.................. a + c = -3/2

2a = 3/2...............a = 3/4...............c = - 9/4

Hmm, according to my calculations IT DOESN'T MATTER JUST PLAYTHEGAMEANDWHENTHE ENDHITSWELLFAK.

Do you have any source as to why the automatic shutdown would happen at 11 PM Japanese time, or 7 AM Cali time? It makes no sense. Those two timezones are the locations of NCL and Glu Mobile, the two companies involved in the shutdown. Glu Mobile will almost definitely shut it down when their contract is complete, which would mean either midnight Japan time or midnight Cali time.

But please, if you have a source, share it. Andy and I have probably spent a collective 2 hours looking for one, including emailing Nintendo. They've been very tight-lipped about it.

Besides that, I don't see even one spot where anybody thought the shutdown would be anything but automated. So the first 3 lines of your post are rather... pointless.

Also, I think we should have a reunion here on the board 10 years after the shutdown date. I think it would be hilarious to see a topic entitled "Anybody else here for the reunion?" 10 years from now.

I dunno, dude. I'll probably be pretty busy with my Wii 4 or my PS5.

It's definitely the 10th in every time zone I think we have players from (unless there is anybody from Alaska or Hawaii?)

So... 10 days to go?
