Foxy said he was a furry, I don't think he ever said he was a zoophile. From what I've heard, there's a difference. Zoophiles are into actual animals while furries are into anthropomorphized animals (like Krystal from StarFox). Many furries just like pretending to be an animal, and have no sexual interest in them.
Did you miss that one quote of Foxy's? Where people (probably Falcon) were calling him a furry and telling him to leave, and he said something along the lines of "Just because I think about having sex with animals doesn't mean I would actually do it."
Aren't humans animals? Doesn't that mean that everybody is a furry now?
Humans are mammals. "Animal" is a word used to describe non-human species.

From Merriam-Webster. According to the first definition, humans are animals. Though, I guess it depends on which definition one is talking about.
