What do you think is the best way to experience all six generations? In terms of content, story/narrative, pokemon, etc. Please explain/justify your answers.
Of the following...
Gen I: Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, LeafGreen Gen II: Gold, Silver, HeartGold, SoulSilver Gen III: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald Gen IV: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum Gen V: Black, White, Black 2, White 2 Gen VI: X, Y
It doesn't need to be one game per generation, either. For instance, you might think both Black and White are worth playing, despite redundancies. Or you may say one ought to play Yellow in addition to LeafGreen.

gen 1: yellow and one of the remakes. Yellow because its like the show and plays out differently, remakes because imo the best versions of gen 1. with everything updated.
Gen 2: Id also say one of the remakes. The added stuff from crystal were nice and all but....always find suicune as a box legendary weird, and getting him before one fo the birds is meh xd. though i dont care for the remix music much..
gen 3: emerald. completed story. most content out of the 3 games.
gen4: Non.......jk. platinum, see emerald
gen 5...this is a toughy. BW2 had more post game content. but bw1 felt more like a real adventure. I honestly think you need to play both (bb2 ww2 bw2 wb2) to get the most from either one.
Gen 6: either or. only reason id see someone chose x over y is meta game reasons.
