I just read in the players guide that "new to Wii" you get 50 days to grow your family & achieve your goals, then you have to start a new save file. Can this be turned off?

Hmmm yeah but I guess this keeps you playing right?

Forces you to start over instead of finishing then abandoning the game for a few weeks, come back and find out there's not much else to do but start over.

One question though: 50 in-game days or like 50 real-life hours? O_o

For some reason, this reminds me a little bit of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Different setting, gameplay, and story, but similar in the sense that you play through the life of one individual and don't go through multiple generations. It's also one of my favorite games. I actually like this idea for something different with TS3. Longer days would be great also.
