The key will be seeing what would happen if a company decided to make a game that ignored the 3D aspect of the system and put all its power into just the one flat image. Maybe that's the difference between the "Dreamcast-PS2 quality" and "GameCube-Wii quality" claims.

I'd assume that in practice, most game makers would go for the lower quality and 3D over higher quality and no 3D, but we'll see.

The PSP didn't have PS2 graphics. It could barley handle PS1 graphics.


Man do I wish I had the PS1 you apparently had.
