Final Look is TBA.

That really just means colour. They always put the colour names under "Look:". If they decided on the official colours and names (such as Spice Orange which was the Gamecube controller colour name).

Everything hardware wise is set in stone. Though there may be a change in placement, it's extremely unlikely as it can obstruct game development.

That looks very uncomfortable.

Good thing you're not in charge of the design.

The proper phrase is "couldn't care less". "Could care less" means you care.

I'm hoping it gets some serious revision. I don't like the placement of just about everything.

That really just means colour.

It could virtually anything. And you haven't got a clue what that 'anything' is.

Everything hardware wise is set in stone.

Because you imagine it to be so, and therefore it is?

im sold.

thats a brilliant idea.

and tbh i dont see why it wouldnt be ergonomically viable aswell.

all the buttons are easily reachable. would suit lefties aswell, im not one but i dont see any reason to alienate and the more people psyched for the machine the better.

Supposing the 3DS is around the same dimensions and size as the DS lite, try holding your DS with your thumbs constantly at the top by the D-Pad and face buttons, and then on the bottom, where the nubs are. Which is more comfortable? Up top, because that is where the center is.. Its not fun holding something by the edges, it feels loose floppy and wouldn't work for long sittings.

I do like the two analog nubs, however since the analog slider for controlling the character or direction would be used most on the left hand side it should be at the top, where the center of the weight is on the 3DS.

And for the right side the face buttons would most likely be used more, except for perhaps FPS. (Though I would still use the Touch Screen, due to years of playing FPS' on the DS.) So it would be smart to have the face buttons closer to the top and center weight, and the analog nub on the bottom.
