by keeping the clamshell design. Makes it far easier to protect your screen and system instead of something like the PSP.
Preferred Genre: 2D & 3D Platformers.
Epic Mickey, Kirby Epic Yarn, DKCR, SMG2, NSMBWii......mmmmmm.

And it allows them to have a larger analog pad than the PSP's little nub. The PSP couldn't make it too large or it catch and get damaged when you try to remove it or place it in your pocket.

psp's analog needs a spring lock

I also like being able to position the controls where I want them relative to the angle of the game screen.
