Anyone here remember that Capcom canned this game on the PSP because Megaman Maverick Hunter X sold so poorly?
Do you think they will continue the remake series on the 3DS?
Maybe we should make a petition or something?
The game was awesome

Maverick Hunter X wasn't that much of an improvement over X1. I'd much rather Capcom continue something that isn't a remake and leave the X series for Virtual Console or PSN. Breath of Fire 6, Megaman X9, Megaman Legends 3, Megaman Battle Network 7 all deserve to see the light of day before yet another remake.

You're probably right.
A 3D phoenix wright would be pretty epic

The problem with leaving X and X2 to Virtual Console is that we've been playing those games through emulation for over 9000 days. If they want to make sales, they will need to give us a reason. As far as remakes, MHX and DXC were some of the best.

I would love to see a MHX2 on 3DS. We might not get a 30minute long OVA, but that's ok.

Actually, since 3DS cartridges can hold more than UMD's, we can easily get a "30 minute long" OVA. More so, the largest 3DS cartridge can hold 200MB more storage than the largest PSP UMD. Megaman Maverick Hunter X didn't even use nearly that much, it was only 400MB in size, well below the largest capacity DS cartridge (512MB) or even an old CD (700MB). They could cram 5 times as much content as the PSP game into a 3DS cartridge. To put that into perspective, they could put Megaman Maverick Hunter X in its unaltered entirety onto a 3DS cartridge, and still have enough room to remake X2-X5 and put them ALL in the same cartridge. Assuming they all had the same engine and amount of voices/videos as Maverick Hunter X1 that is.
NEVER judge a game you have not played.

Didn't stop plenty of people from still buying a bunch of other games on the service, never mind the fact that it's a lot better playing them via a controller rather than a keyboard.

If Maverick Hunter X is ported, who'd think the continuity errors should get fixed?

because playing with a controller on a computer is impossible XD

^ Well at least one that doesn't completely suck for SNES games that require as much precise movement and whatnot as the X games.
