It seems nintendo won't be satisfied with a slow start this time, as least in terms of game releases. Think about it, with the original DS at the start all there really was the metroid demo, and super mario 64. I wonder why they feel the need to come with so many big titles this round, I really think the 3D alone is the selling point, at least initially. What are the chances of some of these games getting pushed back 1-3 years?

Are you telling me that Feel the Magic XX/XY and Sprung aren't good games >_>.

Also I think Nintendo and it's devs want the 3DS to have a strong start, strong enough where it's the goto console of the generation, like the PS2 was.

The 3D may be the selling point, but so was touch on the DS. And even though that was an interesting sell, it still had a slow start. So I'm glad they're entering the market well endowed. :D

This.

And Feel the Magic is better than anything the 3DS is going to ever get (except for maybe another sequel/prequel to it).

I agree! Feel the magic 1 was surprisingly awesome. 2 let me down a bit.
I stayed away from sprung though haha. There was also that ping pals game. Come to think of it I remember only like 8 games on the shelf at launch for the ds =/

Indeed.

Though there is that list of titles being developed, and that looks freaking amazing. :)
It might just be the antifreeze I just drank, but that sounds like the greatest idea ever! - regdod (on eating a DS battery)
