What explanation do you need? They said making a 3D Classic is 10 times the work of a port. They're making 3D Classics of NES games. At this point in time and technology, making a port of a NES game would be incredibly simple. So while a 3D Classic is a lot more work than they thought it'd be, it's really just exaggerated until you put it into perspective.
