I was wondering whether contact lenses distort or negate the 3DS's 3D effect, as I'm to receive the system in a few days. I've heard that glasses make it hard to see the 3D effect, but I can't find anything concerning contact lenses, which I wear. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

I wear contacts, Acuvue Oasys. Used to wear Acuvue Advance before Oasys came out several years ago. I have been a contact wearer for about 8-9 years now.

Have absolutely no problems. The once in a blue moon I wear my glasses however, I seem to get a bit more ghosting than normal.

I wear glasses and the 3D effect is fine, with or without them.

Glasses makes it difficult to see 3D? That must be wrong. I wear them and they're not even very clean (I admit that) and I can see the 3D just fine.

it varies depending on the type and strength of your contacts/glasses, and how bad your eyes are.
in some cases they can even improve the 3D effect.

Why do people ask this kind of thing?

Do people not understand what contact lenses or glasses are?
