What do people mean by "clicking"?

When they open the ds system? Is it the normal sounding click that locks the hinges in place or the bad sounding click when you nearly unfold the 3DS like a book? Lol

Lol that's odd that yours doesnt click. :o

There are two click sounds though and I believe the first click is safe as all that means is you locked the hinges in place. The second click means you opened it too far.

How do you unfold your books? I never, ever, ever fully clap open my books, as that damages the side of the book (on softcovers) - all my books are in pristine state.

nope, both clicks are good, but if you -try- to open it -past- the second click, that might damage your system'
