Threatened? The only reason Sony priced their system the same as the 3DS was because they were threatened by the success of Nintendo consoles. Nintendo now just trolled Sony hard by lowering their price to where they could STILL make a profit, and undercut the Vita by $80-130US per unit, where Sony was STILL losing money.
To put this in perspective, Reggie just threw down the gauntlet and laughed "Come at me, bro!".

This is a good example of why competition in the market is good for us, customers. We just need to wait what Sony will do to steal back the spotlight.
I agree but in this case I think its bad because Sony also knows this way before the vita launches so they can throw around free stuff too if you pick up the vita 3g. Maybe if they supised use with this when Sony was commited to some dates then this would have been a huge move but now also Sony has to do is just move things around a bit.
