Seriously. They've always been 40$. When I bought Oracle of Ages and Seasons on their release, they were both 40$ each, brand new.

Where did the whining about the price come from? It has never been cheaper.

DS games ranged from 30-40.

Because people want everything for $1, and to have PS3 graphics or better.

Every single Nintendogs, Layton, Harvest Moon, and Scribblenauts game I bought was 30$.

Tbqh, I've never seen a DS game for more than 35$.

I remember buying Chrono Trigger for the SNES at ToysRUs for $80. And many games were like that back then. Today's gamers are lazy. Nuff said....Actually wait a minute I want to say one more thing.....LAZY!!!!! Everything from buying/renting/obtaining to playing the dam game! Gamers today are so lazy they make me look like I used to be in the friggin Olympics!!!

Many Square-Enix games were $40, few third parties here and there. The ones I usually saw were RPG variety. So yeah, plenty of $40 DS games.
