Wow. There's really not much to say apart from the grim realization that Nintendo's teflon coating has been completely stripped away.

They had an impressive run, but clearly it was only a matter of time before the gaming press revoked their free pass.

I honestly don't understand why people feel this way.
move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. Have sheep troopers squadrons A and B flank the cows. They're using DC-17 hoof blasters.

Hopefully Skyward Sword will disprove this theory.

Dragging the entire concept of the DS and Wii on too look through the 3DS and Wii U.

They used to be known for originality and creativity, not rehashing things over and over. The 3DS is so similar to the DS. How old is the DS now??? They REALLY needed to come up with something entirely different, same thing with the Wii U.

I agree, it's been too long since they did masterpieces like Super Mario Galaxy 2 that got universally praised and got the highest scores of this generation. Wait.
Play games, not systems. There are people who like games that you don't, grow up.

Someone's mad they don't have a Nintendo 3DS.

A sequel with SMG's leftovers. That's not even what they are talking about here. The DS is 8 years old, so they release a $250 console that looks just like it and shares many of the same features? Yeah good luck with that.

The Wii came out in what, 2006? That was 5 years ago. It ran its course, it's old news now. So instead of creating something new, they come out with a new Wii. This is not what Nintendo used to be known for. This is what all of these articles are talking about.

Fanboys will never understand this though.
