I'm looking into either a 16 or 32 GB sd card for my 3ds. Any suggestions? Any brands that are more trustworthy?

Does it matter what class it is?

The higher the class the higher the read/write speeds. Read = how long it takes to load things, write = how long it takes to save things

Unless you think fast read/write speeds are really important I'd just get a Class 2 Sandisk card. Sandisk are the most reliable so you don't have to worry about losing data.

what's the difference between the labeling "Ultra" "Extreme" and "Extreme Pro"? are those the classes for the r/w speed?

I couldn't tell you what the best is, but I suggest staying away from Dane-Elec. I've had 2 of these for my Wii and they're extremely buggy for some reason. I'm using my second one, and it's working better than it ever has... but that's working most of the time, then after playing certain games (Smash Bros. seems to be one of the culprits) it won't read it at all unless I eject it and re-seat it. I just haven't had the money to go and buy a better one yet.

I'm not sure what the differences are but you only need a super fast one for something like a video recorder
