I just picked up the 3ds at walmart. Had a great talk with the guy at the register about the ambassador program. Got home and showed my dad the ar games archery. That is the only time I have ever seen him get into a video game! What game should I get as my first game? I'm thinking either oot or resident evil mercenaries.
I'm gonna check it out today, if that's the case, I too am picking one up. The games I had in mind were also Legend of Zelda or RE; The Mercenaries, I'd go with either one of those. (Probably OoT, cause...it has a longer game-length)
You should buy Zelda OoT. Even if you've played it many times before, it's still worth checking out and will keep you busy for a long time. It looks fantastic in 3D, especially with the updated graphics.
Be sure to log onto the eshop this week so you'll get the free ambassador games next month. If you haven't played Link's Awakening before you should download it.
__Fiale__ posted... Samurai Chronicles if you like the Dynasty Warrior style games. I do not recommend this game. I am a casual DW fan and was severely disappointed with this game. Unless you are a HARDCORE DW fan, do not purchase.
For your first game I recommend Ocarina of Time. It's an amazing game! If you like RPGs, specifically those out of the Shim Megami Tensei series, you can wait less than two weeks for the release of Devil Survivor Overclocked, which is also an amazing game+ 3D graphics, updated interfaces, and a new chapter.
The downfall of man directly correlates with when gamers stopped playing games and discovered message boards.
