I am yet to receive any such message, all I have is the spotpass notification to login to the eShop. According to gbatemp you should receive some message visible in the eShop news section (picture proof provided), so I'm curious.

I am in Europe and have not received a confirmation message of any kind.
Despite the fact that I first visited the eStore months ago, bought something, and even visited again multiple times after the ambassador program was announced (just to be sure), I am paranoid that something hasn't registered properly and I won't get the games. I really wish they'd made you sign an agreement or something.
I live in the UK and I haven't received any confirmation message on the eShop either. I'm thinking the confirmation message was only sent to NTSC 3DSes. I wrote to Nintendo.co.uk's customer service yesterday asking about this exact issue, so if I get a response I'll post it here.
