SD cards are compatible up to 32GB with the 3DS including SD-HC cards

i use a 16GB Sandisc Ultra and it works great

SD Cards only go up to 4 GB. Saying "32 GB including SD-HC cards" is redundant, since cards that are 4 GB up to 32 GB are SD-HC cards <_<.

Yeah, but the smallest SDXC card you can have is 32 GB too - and those are not compatible, so it might be wise to make sure you have a SDHC card when going for the max. 32 GB
