Even before the recent rumors, there was little agreement on when Nintendo will release a revised 3DS. The odd hardware rumors lately have just added fuel to the fire.

When do you think we will see a revised 3DS? Assume this means its first release, whether in Japan or North America.

A. Later this year
B. January - April 2012
C. May - August 2012
D. September - December 2012
E. 2013 or later
F. Never

G. I'm happy enough with mine to not care.

But I'll go with C or D for the sake of conversation.

F. When you say revised I'm assuming you mean a redesign that may or not have new features. I don't think the 3DS will get one. I'm confident that the 3DS will only get an XL version.

As far as I know Nintendo makes redesigns every 2 years for their ds models. It would make sense they would do the same with the 3ds.

Depends how long the price drop keeps their numbers up. Personally, I think the nugget of truth in the whole redesign debate's that they were rushing something together in case the price drop didn't make as big of an impact as expected. As long as the numbers stay up, they may slow things down and wait a while.

Probably D and maybe C. To do that big of a price drop without plans of a new revision soon wouldn't really make sense... but it is Nintendo and they are weird.

E. But, this includes the next DS in line, not just a new 3DS. If you mean a revamped 3DS, then

**Extra: 2DS?
And this topic that I did (http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997614-3ds/60123771) says that 30 people think that a 2DS is a bad idea, while only 8 say it's worth it.

A. September 14th, obviously.

It's like you haven't even been paying attention to the topics on this board lately.

A more serious answer, I would guess around holiday 2012
