Maniac Mansion should sooo have been released. I would have been so freaking happy. That game was amazing. Plus Super Mario Bros 3 was the best one, why not that one zoidburg asks?

The exploding hamster version? You know Nintendo's not going to be having any of that.

Seriously, this is getting old. Nintendo absolutely *was not* going to give out really popular or sought-after games for the Ambassador promotion, because they want to actually sell those for money. They gave us a wide range of games from different genres that are reasonably good, and really, that's better than we had any right to expect from a free "please don't hate us, dear customers!" give-away.

Lucasarts was supporting VC on Wii so this should have come out a while ago.
Wonder what happened?

I'd rather have the monkey Island games, Sam and Max, and Day of the Tentacle.
I'm clever, vaguely feminine, a vampire, and I wield Dice. PH33R.
The DS and PSP are both outstanding systems. Wally the Equality Weasel says so.

I was about to pop in here to say that most of the people here will have no idea what the hell you're talking about, and I was partly right, because it's the old standbys who are responding to this thread.

That said, you can play MM via a means which we're no longer allowed to discuss here, or quite freely on the PC. I would love some official ports though.
