That even though Link's Awakening is a gameboy color game, on the homescreen whenever the icon rotates... IT'S A GAMEBOY GAME!!! Dun dun dunn. It's just something I noticed.
I believe the technical term is "Stick-em powers".

I mean look at the icon when it rotates and on the back of it instead of the cartridge being a gbc cartridge its a regular gb cartridge.

That's because the actual cart looks like a regular gameboy cart and not the clear gbc carts.

Oh ok I didn't know since I only ever owned the original version for regular gameboy, Heh learn something new everyday huh?

That's because it couldn't only be played on a Game Boy Color, but had extra features on one (such games had a black cartridge.)
