Do you think the next Smash Bros. being made for 3DS and Wii U announced this summer at E3, will require the analog stick???

Require it? Hell no.

Use it as an optional method of control? I hope so. That'd be awesome.

What if they wanted to add a new game mechanic to the next one? I mean I guess you don't need one, the others didn't, but then again, the shoulder buttons we DO need right!?

It shouldn't need it. They'll probably map the buttons similar to the classic controller scheme for Brawl.

This. It's only useful for cheating smash attacks.

They aren't going to make every game require an optional third party accessory that requires batteries...
