Oh my Lord. This is just pathetic. Trolls are an interesting bunch.
If I call you silly or foolish, please know I actually mean to say a much more insulting synonym.

To me this is a good thing and bad thing. Personally having experienced my time with Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) the community on there is rough. Even so much as the tiny lag puts you on somewhat of a banned this of people who will not party with you because of how serious some people play this game, thus Local (Ad-hoc) is the best way to experience this type of game.

On the other hand now since im in college, and live no where near where all my friends (or friends that play Monster Hunter) it would be difficult to get the full enjoyment out of this game, as it seems to me to get boring playing all alone. With online you get that experience of getting in a group to take down a dragon, and with that taken away where is the enjoyment?

Personally i just dont see why we cant have options. Is it that difficult to give us both? Either way ill probably still get it since its monster hunter and i havent played one that didnt keep me at least a bit interested in the series.

Who gives a damn? I've 5 pals getting it as is now, we just gather around and play with some chips and stuff. Sucks for people who have no physical friends though.

.... What does this have to do with Nintendo?
They clearly gave 3DS the ability to have online games, as others have made them

This is all Capcom, and it's just their latest blunder.
