There is no account system with which to store your downloads or to redownload content in the event of your system breaking, so why in the hell would anyone buy a game digitally from Nintendo?

One they're making an account system. Two if your system breaks you can still send it to Nintendo and they'll transfer it assuming the memory isn't what's screwed.
