This topic has most likely been done to death, so I apologize. At least it's not "My most disappointing 3DS game was still better than the best Vita game" garbage. Don't bring stuff like that into this topic, please.
Anyway, mine would probably be Sonic Generations. I was pumped for it after Sonic Rush and SR Adventure, but the level design and length in SG are just... ugh. I can't get rid of this game quick enough. However, the remixes are absolutely awesome.
Please post your most disappointing 3DS game that you've EDIT: own and WHY.

Steel Diver, easily. But since I only paid 5 dollars for it from Bestbuy.com, that's okay. It was REALLY cheap, and it gave me a 3DS game (I actually bought it before I got my 3DS XL on release date. It's just not all that good. I don't care for the stylus only controls for the game, the levels are not that long/interesting, and the turn-based mode doesn't allow you to play against the CPU if I remember right.

It's not a bad game and I was very surprised by the amount of depth it had over all, with that said, I was disappointed by the fact that there isn't a new game + and you can't replay bosses you fought on your file. If they just had these 2 features, the game could of been stellar, but the lack of them not only hurts the replayability of the game but it also makes all the randomly generated items and levels have no point. This was an absolutely poor decision, something that if possible they should correct in a patch.
At first: It would have to be Super Mario 3D Land. When I first got the game, I was bored with it and feeling overplayed with too many Mario games on 3DS and this had the same world themes...
...Then I got to world 3 which was a water world and I played the first level, it was DESERT! It had exploration like Super Mario Sunshine and the music reminded me of Zelda Ocarina of Time. That's when I enjoyed the game.
So now... My most disapointing 3DS game would probably have to be... idk. I haven't played any of them in a while besides New Super Mario Bros 2 and Mario 3D Land.
