Basically, I don't like any of Nintendo's first-party franchises: Pokemon, Zelda, Star Fox, Mario, etc. Any game that has the Nintendo logo on it, just doesn't appeal to me at all. But is it still worth buying a 3DS for the third-party support?

It's pretty decent third-party wise, but I'd recommend you to wait on it for a bit more. See if support expands anymore than now.

There's a Nintendo logo on the 3DS. Just saying...
"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist..."
"And like that... *poof*, he was gone."

Resident Evil Revelations
Tales of the abyss
Shin Megami Tensei 4
Soul Hackers
Devil Survivor Overclocked
Unchained blades
Liberation Maiden
Crimson shroud
Professor Layton
Final Fantasy Theatherhytm
Rhythm Thief
Kingdom Hearts Dream drop distance
Etrian Oddessey 4
Monster Hunter 3G
Project X Zone
Dragon Quest 7

and many more....

you should be fine without 1st parties... but having a nintendo console without playing what put nintendo in the map (its 1st party games) is punishing yourself

especially gems like Fire emblem awakening, Kid icarus uprising and Super Mario 3d land

Wait, you don't even like Metroid? Really, TC? Wow...

Well, maybe. There are quite a few good games that aren't Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, etc. for the 3DS, sure, but I'm guessing you wouldn't like any of those either. Except maybe a few. Well, the other person posted a short list, so if any of those interest you, go for it. If not, just stay away.

A known troll has actually managed to make people give him serious responses. That's a shame.
Fanboys are a cancer to gaming but Sony fanboys are a particularly aggressive and repulsive form.
