Ugh these Kid Icarus controls take about half an hour to learn I give up they're too hard.

Simple gameplay, bare bones plot, easy difficulty, repetitive, small learning curve. Kid Icarus is childish with its plot, simple and repetitive game play. Yes it can get hard, but you can say that about any game with difficulty settings. Difficulty only matters if it makes the AI better, increasing damage and enemies is just an easy way out.

You just described pretty much every "mature" popular game out there, specially Call of Duty. So really... love it.

Except a majority of difficulty doesn't make the enemy AI any different. It often just does exactly what you said the easy way out but increase damage, increased numbers, and hell maybe just over all harder later level enemies.
